In Telugu, Gana means “music” and Badi means “school.” Inspired by these simple yet powerful words, we named our academy Ganabadi—a school dedicated to music.
While the name is straightforward, few institutions truly uphold the ideals that a "school" should represent. Ganabadi was founded to meet those fundamental expectations: to provide accessible, high-quality education in Carnatic Music, free of confusion, inaccuracy, or exclusivity.
We observed that many existing resources—books, videos, and lessons—are often unclear, inconsistent, or poorly structured. To address this, we developed a four-unit curriculum with concise, well-organized, and accurate lessons. Our teaching methods cater to all learning styles—visual, auditory, and kinesthetic—making Carnatic Music more approachable and engaging for every student.
At its core, Ganabadi is a resource and a community, guiding learners through a meaningful and structured journey in Carnatic Music.
At Ganabadi, we believe that knowledge is meant to be shared—not sold.
Our mission is to make high-quality Carnatic Music education freely accessible to all, regardless of background, wealth, or social standing.
As Swami Vivekananda profoundly said:
“The only way to bring about the upliftment of society is through the spread of education. Let every man and woman be educated—teach them to think for themselves.”
This belief lies at the heart of Ganabadi. Carnatic Music is a priceless cultural inheritance, and we are committed to sharing it openly, respectfully, and clearly—with no cost and no barriers.
Our guiding principles are:
The arts should be taught freely.
The arts should reach every corner of the world.
The arts should be passed on with clarity, purpose, and care.
Ganabadi is more than an academy—it’s a movement to preserve and share the beauty of Carnatic Music with everyone.
Ganabadi is defined by its commitment to quality, inclusivity, and depth. We offer:
Clear, concise lessons designed to support all learning styles
